Double Fortune Slot at cb666 — Get the chance of double wins with the power of two dragons
Double Fortune is a Chinese-themed video slot made by PG Soft, where two dragons bring good luck together. Every spin at cb666 features special reel mechanics, free spins and multipliers.
Double Fortune Theme and Design
Double Fortune is a classic Chinese good-luck themed video slot made by PG Soft. With red and gold décor, dragons and traditional Chinese symbols, this game is as pleasing to look at as it is simple to play.
The game's reel layout consists of 5 reels and 3 rows, with 243 payways — meaning a win is counted whenever the same symbol lands on adjacent reels from left to right. This "ways to win" mechanic removes the need to select paylines individually.
Symbols include gold coins, dragons, lotus flowers, lanterns, diamonds and standard A–9 paying symbols. Two dragons act as Wild symbols — one red, one green — which substitute for other symbols when they appear on screen.
How Spins Work — From Bet to Bonus
Before the game begins, you set your bet amount. Double Fortune has a fairly flexible bet range, so players with a smaller budget can participate easily. Once the bet is set, pressing "Spin" turns all five reels at once and, after they stop, wins are determined according to the 243 payways.
The bonus round is triggered by Scatter symbols — generally, three or more Scatters landing together start a free spins round. Multipliers may become active during this round, meaning each win amount increases by a set multiplier.
One special feature of Double Fortune is the "Double Fortune" bonus trigger — when both dragon Wilds are active in the same spin, winning chances increase noticeably. The maximum win can reach several hundred times the standard bet.

Which type of player is this game suited for?
Understand your budget, session length and volatility before deciding
Players with a medium budget
Double Fortune has a wide bet range. It suits players who are comfortable placing medium-sized bets per session. Even with a small budget, it is possible to get through several free spins sessions.
Players who prefer medium volatility
Volatility is a measure of how frequently and how large wins come. Double Fortune's volatility is at a medium level — there are no very long dry runs, but wins do not come on every spin either.
Short to medium sessions
This slot works well for players who want to complete a session within 30 minutes to an hour. The bonus round does not take long to trigger, so sessions stay active throughout.
Know Before You Play — Practical Tips
Keeping a few practical strategies in mind before playing Double Fortune makes for a more controlled and enjoyable session. The tips below are useful for both new and experienced players.
- Try demo mode first: Double Fortune is available in demo mode at cb666. It is the best way to understand the game mechanics and bonus features without spending real money.
- Set a session budget: At the start of each session, decide the maximum amount you are willing to spend. Once you reach that limit, stop the session — you can always play again later.
- Follow your stop-loss limit: Set a loss limit in advance. For example, stopping when you have lost 50% of your session budget is a sensible approach.
- Set aside a portion of winnings: When a big win comes, withdraw or protect a set portion of it rather than putting it all back into bets.
- Be careful with auto spin: Using auto spin can drain a session quickly. Pressing spin manually makes it easier to control the pace of a session.
Common Misconceptions and Myths
Many misconceptions about slot games are widely held. Understanding them helps you play more clearly.
- "The game is due to pay out now": Every spin in a slot is a completely independent event. A previous win or loss has no effect on the next result — this is known as RNG (Random Number Generator).
- "After losing so much, a win must come next": This belief is known as the "gambler's fallacy". Even after a long losing streak, the chance of winning on the next spin stays exactly the same.
- "Raising the bet will bring a win": Trying to recover losses by increasing your bet is the most dangerous habit. It is more likely to increase your losses.
- "You win more at certain times of day": The game runs on a server and results are equally random at any time of day. Morning, afternoon, evening or night — it makes no difference.

How Does It Differ from Other Slot Styles?
cb666 offers many types of slots — from classic three-reel games to Megaways engine games with thousands of payways. Double Fortune sits in the middle of this range.
Megaways slots (such as Big Time Gaming's Bonanza Megaways) change the number of payways on every spin and are far more complex. Compared to those, Double Fortune's fixed 243 payway system is much easier to follow.
Classic 9-payline games look simple but offer fewer winning opportunities. Double Fortune's "ways to win" mechanic, on the other hand, counts a win whenever matching symbols appear on neighbouring reels in the same row. This is more flexible than classic paylines.
